: My name is Hermann. I was born in 1943 at Voelklingen - the Roechling-City - near the French border in the former Saar-District,
a Milestone of the European Nations, the EEC.
In 1977 I came to CB radio due to many miles on the road. Three years later I joined ham radio as DD9PY and successfully worked
OSCAR 10 with more than 5000 QSOs. In 1987 I did upgrade to DL1EEC and I enjoy the suffix EEC very much due to my European
orientation since my semi-French time.
